Good to know
Is there a vegetarian option? Yes. The Grilled Cheese: two slices of American, lettuce, Roma tomato, grilled onion and house 1000 Island on a brioche bun.
Gluten-free? We don't have a gluten-free bun, but any burger can go protein style, wrapped in lettuce.
What else is on the menu? Hamburgers without cheese (single, double or triple), cheese fries, sautéed chile güero, and a kids' menu with a cheeseburger, hamburger or grilled cheese.
Where can I get beer and wine? Barrio Logan only. Normal Heights doesn't serve alcohol.
Parking and access? Barrio Logan has free street parking and a sidewalk patio, with steps up to the door. Normal Heights has a free parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating, and is wheelchair accessible.
Do you cater? We don't do offsite catering.
Hayes Burger has two San Diego locations. Our original shop is in Barrio Logan at 2060 Logan Ave, a block off Chicano Park, with beer and wine available. Our second is in Normal Heights at 3460 Adams Ave, in the heart of the Adams Avenue business district. SanDiegoVille named us one of San Diego's 26 Greatest Burgers of 2026.
